We're looking for a Level 3 qualified Electrician to join the team to cover different technologies in renewable energy across Scotland.This Field Service Technician comes with an excellent salary, depending on your experience, with the chance of overtime but with work‑life balance being key for the client.If you're wanting to work for a genuine major player in the global energy space with growth potential, please read on and apply below.Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Technician roleReporting to the Field Service Team Leader you will:Ensure the best performance of large-scale renewable energy assetsPerform operations and maintenance duties across the portfolio of solar and battery storage sitesEnsure adherence to all HSE requirements when completing your dutiesTest both DC and AC systems, looking for faults and tracing issuesConduct firmware updates and use computer systems to look for issues with the assetsConsistent inspection, maintenance and testing of the systemsLooking for trends and using data analysis to see if you can spot any common trends and suggest ways to improve operations as a resultOccasional assistance with tasks such as solar panel cleaning, some ground maintenance and site CCTVOccasional working way from your patch/area and be flexible to help when the business needs thisWe are looking for someone with the following:At least a level 3 qualification in electrical installation2391 test and inspection is hugely preferredAny health and safety qualifications are a benefitFull UK driving licencePersonal skillsEnjoys being on the road visiting sitesSomeone who enjoys fault‑finding and maintenance rather than installationWants to contribute to the renewable energy industrySalary and benefits of the Field Service Technician roleSalary up to £40,000 depending on experiencePrivate health coverLife insuranceCompany van and fuel card (and can be for personal use)Company pension33 days holiday inc.
