Pay is on an hourly rate that is based on experience. About the Role Extra-Curricular Drama Teacher based in Brentwood, Essex. Are you passionate about drama and inspiring young performers? We are looking for a self‑employed Drama Teacher to lead our dynamic after‑school drama clubs in a welcoming primary school setting. You will run two fun, creative drama clubs each week: Wednesdays: 3:15pm – 4:15pm for ages 8–11 years Thursdays: 3:15pm – 4:15pm for ages 5–7 years This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of performing arts, build confidence in young people, and design engaging sessions that encourage imagination and teamwork. The Drama teacher will deliver an engaging and creative curriculum to classes (ages 5–11) of between 10–25 students at a school in Brentwood, Essex. The role will include supporting students as they work their way through the LAMDA course—learning to act, perform, make conversation, create and explore their love for performing arts. The role will also provide access to the Arts Award course for our students; full training will be given to the right candidate. There will be potential to grow your own understanding of our classes and progress independently through our CPD and additional courses with Trinity College London.
