You’ll help tackle pressing challenges such as climate change, ageing infrastructure, pollution incidents, Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) spills, and population growth by designing resilient wastewater networks and delivering major pipeline transfers and drainage systems that protect communities and the environment.What You’ll Be DoingBuild and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic modelsAssess and influence CSO activity and operation to meet sector targetsEvaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilienceDevelop mitigation solutions and present options to clientsUse industry‑standard modelling software, GIS, and coding toolsProduce high‑quality reports and visualisationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the businessCandidate SpecificationWe are looking for committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion to make a difference.Eligibility: less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree obtained no earlier than 2024, or expected to achieve one, in one of the following disciplines:GeographyHydrology and Water ManagementWater and Environmental EngineeringEnvironmental ScienceCivil EngineeringMathematicsKey CharacteristicsMethodical approach to problem solvingInitiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independentlyExcellent verbal communication skills for liaising with clients and team membersExcellent written communication and attention to detailDevelopment and BenefitsAnnual salary review and competitive starting salaryContributory pension up to 7% of salaryFlexible benefits scheme to suit individual needsBi‑annual salary reviews for the first three years of employmentLocation(s)Newcastle Upon Tyne, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester, Reading, BristolContract DetailsType: Permanent | Pattern: Full TimeApply TodaySend your application to earlycareers.recruitment@mottmac.com.
