The practice has invested heavily in state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including digital X‑ray, a dedicated dental suite, in‑house laboratory, ultrasound, and a fully equipped operating theatre. This allows the team to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, ensuring pets receive exceptional care. Separate cat and dog wards help minimise stress for patients, and dental X‑ray capabilities will soon enhance their service even further. Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery are in house. My client is now seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon—suited to either a new graduate or someone with 3+ years of experience—to join their close‑knit team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNs, and 1 Head RVN. As an independent, family‑run practice, they understand that every pet is a cherished member of the family and pride themselves on offering a warm, supportive environment. The Role Full‑time position working a 4‑day week No OOH, Sundays or bank holidays 1:3 Saturday rota 6pm finish - last consult at 17:20pm everyday Flexible rota patterns considered, including earlier finishes Benefits Competitive salary up to £75,000 DOE 28 days holiday Pension scheme Birthday off - if Birthday falls on W/E or RDO CPD - No limit agreed with manager VDS, RCVS & BVA fees covered This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly independent practice in the heart of Buckinghamshire, where your development, wellbeing, and clinical freedom genuinely matter.
