That’s what drives us here at Witherslack Group.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and investigate complex information and data to identify threats and vulnerabilities in IT systems and provide incident response.Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security.What We Do For YouSalary: Base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience)Training: Ongoing professional developmentHoliday: You’ll work hard at WG, so you’ll be rewarded with 7 weeks’ holiday (including bank holidays)Flexible benefits package: meaning you can increase/decrease your holiday allowance, pension and life insuranceWellbeing: a host of wellbeing tools and advice including employee assistanceMedical cover: you can claim back the cost of items like opticians or dentist appointments and enjoys high-street discountsBeautiful working environments with the very best facilitiesQualificationsMinimum one year’s experience in an IT Security Analyst roleProven experience developing, operating and maintaining security systemsKnowledge of security systems including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems and intrusion detection and notification systemsExtensive skills and knowledge of Azure and associated applicationsCritical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problemsHands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etcExperience of multiple operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux)Experience in building and maintaining security systemsDesirable (not essential)Knowledge of security protocols and principlesExperience of Data Security Protection ToolkitExperience of developing Standard Operating ProceduresITIL FoundationPostgraduate qualification in IT related subjectRelevant professional qualificationsBachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related fieldCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)OtherFor a full job description and person specification, or to view our ex-offenders policy, please click the relevant links.
