Engineering Shift Lead – Manufacturing Location: BlackpoolSalary: £55,000 – £57,000Shift Pattern: Panama A well‑established manufacturing business in Blackpool is seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Lead to join their growing operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to take on a role that combines both hands‑on maintenance work and leadership responsibilities within a forward‑thinking, high‑performing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of engineers while remaining hands‑on as an Engineering Shift Lead. Delegate daily maintenance tasks, ensuring planned and reactive work is completed efficiently. Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of automated production equipment. Oversee shift performance, prioritising safety, quality and equipment reliability. Provide technical support, training and guidance to maintenance engineers. Drive continuous improvement projects and support new equipment installations and upgrades. The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as an Engineering Shift Lead, Maintenance Team Leader or Senior Multi‑skilled Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment. A balance of strong leadership skills and a hands‑on engineering approach.i> Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical). Confident in fault‑finding, root cause analysis and coordinating engineering activities. Committed to promoting a safe, efficient and proactive maintenance culture.
