Contract Quality Engineer (6‑month contract, potential to extend or convert to permanent) Are you seeking a contract Quality Engineer position? Responsibilities Lead the implementation of effective quality processes within the manufacturing value stream, ensuring world‑class standards are met. Develop, implement, and maintain robust process controls to support product and process quality. Drive continuous quality performance improvements by analysing manufacturing data and identifying solutions. Conduct thorough root‑cause analysis for customer quality concerns and implement corrective actions using methodologies such as Process FMEA, 8D and DMAIC. Support the introduction of new products and processes, collaborating across teams to ensure compliance and standardisation. Manage and resolve supplier quality issues and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Significant experience in a manufacturing environment managed under AS9100 Rev D or ISO9001 standards. Proficiency in quality management tools such as APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a focus on driving operational excellence. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
