You will work with fresh ingredients every day to produce fantastic products ranging from our best-selling scones to our delicious hot fudge chocolate gateaux. Responsibilities Produce a variety of baked goods and desserts, maintain quality standards, work at pace under pressure, coach and nurture the pastry team, support the kitchen brigade in achieving a high-volume restaurant operation. Qualifications Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Lead in a similar food environment is essential. Experience working in a high-volume restaurant is desirable. Ability to work at pace and under pressure. Leadership experience, showing the ability to nurture and coach teams. Working Hours & Induction The role offers full-time hours of 40 average weekly hours, stepping up your hours at peak (October to December) and working less in non-peak (January - March). You will have one set day off each week and work alternate weekends*. *During the induction and training period of 6 months, the successful candidate will need to work every weekend having 2 weekday shifts off.
