Locum Vascular Surgeon

Applications are invited for a locum Consultant Vascular Surgeon appointment to the East of Scotland Vascular Network (ESVN) to cover maternity leave. The vacancy is for a 9PA job, however there is the opportunity for flexible and part-time working. The ESVN services a hub (NWH) and spoke (VHK/PRI/QMH/Stracathro) model, with the whole team taking responsibility for the Hub and groups of colleagues taking responsibility for their spokes (with cross cover from the whole team). Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded.
