# Relocation Officer## Job Introduction**Temporary Accommodation Relocation Officer**2 x Full-Time Fixed-Term Posts (12 months)We are recruiting two Relocation Officers to support households moving from temporary accommodation into suitable and affordable long-term housing.**Key responsibilities:**Secure suitable accommodation, mainly in the private rented sectorCarry out affordability and suitability assessmentsManage a relocation caseload and provide practical move-on supportWork with landlords, agents and partner boroughsPrepare discharge paperwork and maintain accurate recordsIdentify and raise safeguarding concerns**We’re looking for:**Experience in housing, homelessness or similar support workKnowledge of homelessness legislation and the PRSStrong communication, negotiation and organisational skillsA sensitive approach when supporting vulnerable householdsPrevious Applicants:If you were interviewed in the last campaign, any new application will not be shortlisted.
