Excellent Because we're currently looking for talent. Here at DAF, you'll make sure that the best trucks are back on the road as fast as possible when they require maintenance. You'll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking on responsibility, then we'll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and to decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks. You'll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues. Areas of responsibility: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of LCVs to VOSA standard Diagnose and rectify all types of faults Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises Liaise with the parts department to attain correct parts Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to Ensure appropriate clocking's are made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses Candidates should be able to demonstrate: Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines Ability to work under pressure Ability to actively seek solutions to problems Ability to work as part of a team Good verbal communication skills Excellent customer care skills Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks High level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements Experience / skills: Technical qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ Qualified Technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles Current driving license At Ballyvesey Holdings your right to privacy is important to us.
