Actemium Automation Nottingham - Senior Engineer (Functional Safety Process) Actemium Automation Nottingham, a leading industrial automation provider and part of VINCI Energies, is seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in functional safety and control system design. Job type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week, flexible hours) Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Nottingham Responsibilities Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team. Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems while adhering to site regulations. Technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel; identify risks and propose mitigation strategies. Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards, and legislative requirements. Qualifications Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field. High-level ability to understand and produce control system design documents. Strong understanding of technical project life cycle. Excellent time management skills; structured and methodical approach to work. Good appreciation of industrial software control systems. Benefits Competitive salary £50,000 – £60,000 per annum. Discretionary annual bonus. 25 days holiday + bank holidays + length of service annual leave rewards. Health shield cash plan.
