Site Manager - Luxury residential joinery package

Join an exciting construction company renowned for delivering exquisite luxury residential projects in London's most prestigious neighbourhoods. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Site Manager to oversee a flagship luxury residential fit out in the heart of London’s West End. Project value circa £40m.

As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the installation of 1st and 2nd fix joinery packages. The majority of the packages will be bespoke and will require the upmost attention to detail. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will oversee all aspects of the joinery install, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The Site Manager’s key responsibilities will include:

* To manage day-to-day on-site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

* Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.

* The Site Manager will monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

* Liaise with personnel to address design modifications, resolve technical challenges, and ensure adherence to project specifications.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation, including daily progress reports, site records, and quality assurance records, to track project performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, providing leadership, guidance, and support to on-site teams to promote teamwork and achieve project objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably with a focus on luxury residential projects.

* Strong joinery / carpentry background

* A joinery / carpentry trades background

* Technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate on-site teams.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges.

* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

* Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are desirable.
