We are looking for a committed and motivated Progress Coach to join our team in Reading.About the RoleAs a Progress Coach, you'll play a vital part in the personal and academic journey of our students, delivering both whole class personal development sessions and targeted one-to-one or group coaching.You'll work across a range of curriculum areas, helping students to:Build self-confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligenceMake informed decisions and manage their own learningNavigate personal and academic challenges effectivelyKey responsibilities include:Leading engaging, purposeful personal development tutorialsProviding individual coaching sessions focused on behaviour, achievement, and progressionSupporting students through challenges using a positive behaviour frameworkCollaborating with teaching staff and student support teams to maximise learner outcomesMaintaining accurate records and safeguarding standards at all timesThis is a dynamic and rewarding role, ideal for someone with experience in education, youth work, or pastoral support.What You'll NeedExperience working with young people in an educational or youth settingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEmpathy, resilience, and the ability to build trust and rapportConfidence in facilitating group discussions on sensitive topics (e.g. inclusion, wellbeing, decision-making)Competence in using Microsoft Office and adaptability with IT systemsA background in support roles like Learning Support Assistant, Youth Mentor, or Progress Coach is desirable, though we welcome applications from those with relevant transferable skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.Why Join Us?Working with us means being part of an organisation that invests in people and creates a vibrant, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
