About the Role Are you ready to drive automation and process excellence? We are looking for an expert to lead initiatives that enhance automation, optimize production processes, and deliver engineering projects across a dynamic manufacturing site. Ideal Candidate To succeed, you will maintain and support existing equipment while driving our strategy, collaborating with automation partners to achieve our site goals. This role is ideal for someone with a balance of Industrial Control Systems software expertise and hands‑on electro‑mechanical skills. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent). Experience leading automation initiatives in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to process improvement. Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial control systems (required: Siemens, Allen Bradley). Experience programming and integrating industrial robotics (ABB, Kawasaki, Universal Robots). Experience integrating and supporting OEE monitoring systems. Experience acquiring data from oven control systems (Eurotherm). Experience with machinery safety standards, including EN 13849. Experience managing engineering projects and delivering measurable improvements. Competencies Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Project planning and achieving target timelines. Technical writing and documentation skills. Safety‑first attitude.
