Job Description Discipline: Occupational Hygiene Consultant Our client is a highly successful asbestos consultancy offering a wide range of professional services on all asbestos and environmental disciplines. Due to continuing success they are actively looking to employ a conscientious and experienced Occupational Hygienist to work for them in the Swindon area. Applications from Chippenham, Newbury, Cirencester, Gloucester and surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Hold BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications. Holding the qualification in general Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate) would be beneficial. A good working knowledge of the relevant disciplines involved. Must be fully conversant with the Health and Safety procedures. Excellent communication skills. We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP. Key Responsibilities The work will involve undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing and indoor air quality. Liaising with the company’s large client base. Managing the projects/contracts and clients effectively. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislations. Providing and delivering a professional service to new and existing clients.
