General Practitioner- Out of hours

HMP Hewell has a fast paced healthcare environment delivering care to males aged 21+, with a range of needs including substance misuse and long term conditions. Within this role you will be working closely with our senior nurses to deliver receptions care which includes, first night prescribing, discharge prescribing, urgent follow up for duty doctor and Substance Misuse prescribing. We are looking for a General Practitioner who is a team player and enjoys working with a busy environment where no two days are the same. Hours Monday 5.30pm - 9.30pm Tuesday 5.30pm - 9.30pm Friday 5.30pm - 9.30pm Saturdays 1pm - 5pm or 2pm - 6pm This role is available as a job share Salary This position is part time role working 16 hours per week, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £124,320 per annum FTE depending on experience How will we support you? Qualifications required MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
