Opportunity for Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE and or MICE) to take a leading role in a long-established practice in Bath, southwest England. The appointment can be made at Senior, Principal, Associate or Associate Director level. There are many reasons to apply:

Arrive in a senior position, alongside the Director/ owner and to get involved in running the practice and potentially become an equity Director/ owner in the future.
Smaller, close-knit team.
Long-established local client base (several decades) and being part of the community.
Getting out on site, meeting people and solving problems…diverse range of buildings, other structures, and ground conditions (including plenty of slopes)…not a desk job.
Live in Bath, "The Original Wellbeing Destination", "An elegant city full of traditional heritage, contemporary culture, green spaces and a few surprises" (having worked in the city for several years earlier in my career I'm inclined to go with Visit Bath on this).
It might be to improve on your current renumeration (wide range on offer, commensurate with your level/ ability).What we are looking for in you:

Technically excellent/ proven and able to apply your skills to a diverse range of projects. Your portfolio will include designing and surveying a wide variety of building structures in the UK.
Chartered Member of the IStructE and or ICE.
People person, who enjoys engaging with colleagues, clients, and other collaborators.
You want to get involved in running the practice, as well as delivering projects well. You have the commercial awareness to do this effectively.
You will need a full UK driving licence to get around and deliver.What next
