Consultant Rheumatologist

Role Overview The successful candidate will work closely with the existing rheumatologists in Hillingdon Hospital’s Rheumatology department, providing clinical care and supporting professional activities across a typical working week. Key Responsibilities Deliver ten programmed activities per week, with a focus on patient care and clinical governance. Dedicate eight days per week to direct patient care through PA appointments. Use two days per week to support audit, teaching, appraisal, and service development initiatives. Participate actively in the department’s audit programme and maintain continuing professional development as required by the Royal College of Physicians. Work within the hospital’s IT and office infrastructure, with no on‑call duties anticipated. Additional Support Access to IT and office accommodation is provided.
