If so, we want to hear from you We're looking for a Service Improvement & Performance Senior Officer to lead performance monitoring, drive service improvements, and ensure compliance across our high-profile shared service. What You'll Be Doing Lead the analysis and reporting of performance data to inform decision‑making within the service. Oversee data protection, FOI, and Subject Access Request processes, ensuring legal compliance and transparency. Manage assigned projects from concept to delivery, driving innovation and continuous improvement for Local Taxation and Benefits Shared Services. Support strategic development by providing intelligence to the strategic lead within the service that influences council policy. Lead a cross‑site team, deputising for the Team Manager – Systems and Control when needed. Liaise with ICT and other departments to enhance service delivery. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in leading teams and managing change. Strong analytical skills with advanced ICT – for example Power BI, Excel, Business Objects. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Strong understanding of GDPR, FOI, complaints handling, and performance management.
