Nursery Manager - School Setting near Chard Contract: 1st December 2025 – 13th February 2026 (with potential extension). Hours: Full time. Pay: Competitive, based on experience. Are you a passionate early years professional ready to take the lead in a nurturing school-based nursery? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Manager to join a welcoming school community near Chard from 1st December 2025. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading a small, dedicated early years team, ensuring the provision of a safe, stimulating and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive. You’ll work closely with school leaders, parents and staff to maintain high standards of care and education, supporting children’s development through the EYFS framework. What we’re looking for: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (EYFS) Previous experience managing or leading within a nursery or early years setting A warm, organised and child‑focused approach Strong understanding of safeguarding, EYFS requirements and Ofsted standards This is a wonderful opportunity to make an immediate impact in a supportive school community, guiding young learners through an exciting stage of their development.
