Join us as a Field Service Engineer and work in a high-tech, specialist company collaborating with global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. This is a newly created role to support growth and increased demand.ResponsibilitiesMaintenance, servicing and commissioning of EDM and laser machine tools.Preventive and reactive maintenance at customer sites.Maintenance of equipment within its manufacturing facility.Providing installation and commissioning support for new systems and technical upgrade packages.Providing technical support and training, internally and externally.The successful candidate will have excellent all-round skills in electrical/electronic maintenance disciplines. The required level of competence and experience cannot be attained without recognised, time-served type training.Previous five axis machine tool maintenance experience with knowledge of Heidenhain and PC based control systems is required.
