Salary £60K Basic + Benefits package Key Responsibilities Lead & mentor a small development team. You may have some experience already, or a want to progress in your career to a more senior / lead type role. Proven experience in designing and building scalable, and maintainable applications using Java (Java 8+, with experience or a strong desire to work with Java 21) and Spring Boot. Understanding and hands-on experience with a range of core AWS services Software Development Best Practices: A strong commitment to writing clean, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code. Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Desirable / You will get into Experience working with teams in building web applications using React and/or JavaScript on the client-side. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker & IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation. In the main we just need a strong Java coding software engineer, with Spring Boot framework & AWS, who is ok with mentoring a small team.
