Manufacturing Engineer - Production We're partnering with a well‑established engineering organisation that is driving innovation across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join a collaborative team and make a real impact on production quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Role Develop and optimise Methods of Manufacture (MOM) for new and existing products Drive improvements in quality and lead‑time through proactive process optimisation Assess new technologies and contribute to a strategic capability acquisition plan Resolve non‑conformances and eliminate root causes using structured problem‑solving tools Apply quality management techniques such as PFMEA, SPC, and MSA Collaborate closely with technicians and project teams to enhance production processes Create training packs and define best practices to support continuous improvement About You A relevant Engineering degree and at least 5 years' manufacturing experience Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset Confidence in analysing performance data and producing clear, actionable reports Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment Desirable Extras Lean manufacturing experience (Green Belt or higher) Familiarity with structured problem‑solving (8D) Experience within the rail industry What's on Offer Join a forward‑thinking organisation with a strong reputation in engineering and manufacturing Be part of a supportive team culture that values ownership, accountability, and diversity Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career progression How to Apply If you're ready to take on this challenge and contribute to exciting engineering projects, send us your CV along with a short cover note highlighting your experience and motivation.
