Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Bias Engineer Salary: £50,000Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.- £53,000 per annum, plus 27 days holiday bank holidays, life assurance, pension (up to 10% 'employer' contributions and employee to match- 20% maximum total), and overtime (£10k potential) Hours: 12 hour rotation shifts of days & nights Location: Commutable from Reading, Newbury, Thatcham, Swindon, Basingstoke, Andover, Oxford, Didcot, and surrounding areas Company We are currently recruiting a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in a large and fast moving manufacturing factory.If you've got the desire to settle, grow and advance your skills, this is the place and opportunity for you.They have a dedicated and loyal team, those wanting to join a 'family feel' team, this is perfect To be supported, valued and appreciated.The environment is of a heavier nature so you must be physically fit and enjoy getting your hands dirty.It is working in an engineering department of 10 approx.and in team of 2 Engineers when on shift.It is working on a 12 hour rotation shift pattern covering days & nights.If you are a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer, ideally gained through an apprenticeship, who is looking for a career move or perhaps things have become complacent where you are or youre not getting the rewards and recognition for your hard work, don't delay and apply now Responsibilities This is an electrical biased role, focusing completely on Electrical Maintenance Engineering in the factory.Working across a 12 hour shift pattern of permanent days, 6am till 6pm, 4 on 4 off.Maintenance of all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and various project work, including refurbishments and installations.Trouble-shoot / Fault Find on Siemens & other PLC equipment.Maintenance of sensors, relays, contactors, drives, AC/DC motors, 3 phase electrics etc.within the factory.Working in an Electrical Team and liaising with Mechanical Team, working together to get on all engineering matters.Provide input in the ongoing development of machinery and systems.Ensure safe working at all times with a right first time every time by everyone attitude to produce a cost effective, quality product whilst adhering to the Companys policies and procedures.Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.To provide good communication to colleagues and production and keep the required logs of work and hours.To develop an understanding of machinery operation so that faults can be diagnosed and rectified efficiently.Requirements Completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent and hold electrical engineering qualifications Electrical maintenance, service or installation background Ideally familiar with plant maintenance, reactive and proactive maintenance Electrical experience of ANY of the following; 3 phase, star / delta motors, drives, sensors, inverters, PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron etc.), contactors, relays, control panels, servo drives.Experienced in a similar field, manufacturing or industrial or automation PLC experience is an advantage but not essential as training can be provided Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger and desire to learn and grow Physically fit and comfortable working in a heavy plant manufacturer If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.Or call TechNichols Resourcing and speak with Wesley for further information.We will endeavour to get back to all applicants but if you have not heard back within 5 working days unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
