Medivet Faygate 24-Hour Hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team and help guide the continued growth of this flagship hospital.Set amidst acres of rolling woodland and tranquil countryside, Medivet Faygate offers a truly unique setting — surrounded by wildlife, yet within easy reach of the South Downs National Park and the stunning Jurassic coastline. Despite its peaceful location, the hospital is a vibrant, high-performing hub known for delivering market-leading care to our patients and clients.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon with a minimum of five years’ UK clinical experience to step into a pivotal leadership role. You’ll work alongside a friendly and highly skilled team, helping to coordinate clinical workflow, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the practice. Excellent time management and a proactive, collaborative approach to team leadership will be key to your success in this role.Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical facilities, including digital radiography, dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, full in-house laboratory, CT scanner, and two dedicated theatres. Patient wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, supported by thoughtful design elements such as separate cat and dog wards, a dedicated isolation area, and species-specific waiting areas to ensure the highest standards of care.You’ll be leading a warm and supportive team committed to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
