Senior Care Assistant | The Ashton Care Home The Ashton Care Home is a private care home located in Hinckley, close to the town centre. We specialise in Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care, Respite Care, and Palliative care for 72 residents. Positively led by an experienced and supportive senior management team, known for its warmth, dedication, and a commitment to delivering care that feels truly personal. Responsibilities In this role, you will lead the care team, taking responsibility for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care. Your duties include: Dispensing and administering medication safely. Working closely with the Nursing and Management teams to ensure residents receive the best possible support every day. Maintaining accurate records through our electronic care planning system. Promoting independence, dignity, and respect in every interaction and ensuring genuine care and understanding for all residents. Qualifications & Requirements We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant with a minimum Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care. Applications from those working towards Level 3 are also welcome. You will bring a calm, compassionate approach and excellent communication skills. Contract & Compensation £13.21 per hour. Full‑time or part‑time contracts (24 to 48 hours per week). Paid DBS, uniform provided, onsite parking. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full‑time hours). Company pension scheme.
