As a Recruitment Consultant, you will develop the technical expertise and market awareness to identify, open, and develop new market opportunities in an inclusive and supportive environment.

We are looking for a confident and driven person to join our Highways Public Sector team on a contract desk. You will work with Councils across the UK, where you will typically place Design Engineers, Drainage Engineers, Bridge Engineers as well as Highways Inspectors.

You will grow, what we refer to as “your desk” - your desk in recruitment is a hub of activity, where you'll spend your days connecting with candidates, coordinating interviews, canvassing clients and working closely with hiring managers to successfully fill open vacancy. Sales activities and building relationships will be an integral part of your role.

Experienced in Recruitment: We’re looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in recruitment. You should understand what it takes to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals. Sales Skills Essential: To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience in sales or business development. You should be confident engaging clients, managing pipelines, and achieving targets. We’ll help you refine your skills further — but you’ll already know what success in a results-driven environment looks like.
