What You'll Do As our Junior Commercial Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for all things financial analysis related to our client accounts. Your day-to-day will involve: Building the Future: Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to forecast revenue, plan capacity, and manage resources for our diverse client portfolio. Unveiling Insights: Preparing compelling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that reveal key commercial metrics and client performance. Driving Profitability: Diving deep into client profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement and strategic growth. Budgeting for Success: Supporting the creation of client budgets and meticulously monitoring performance against them. Spotting Opportunities: Analysing client contracts to identify financial risks and unlock new opportunities. Strategic Partnering: Collaborating with our commercial and account management teams, providing vital data for pricing negotiations and contract renewals. Shaping Processes: Contributing to the evolution of our commercial processes, making them more efficient and effective. Ad-Hoc Heroics: Tackling diverse analytical challenges as they arise, always ready to provide rapid, insightful data. Ensuring Accuracy: Working hand-in-hand with colleagues to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy and consistency. Who You Are You’re a sharp, detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of finance and a keen eye for business. You’re ready to make an impact and grow your career within a global leader. Educated: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. Experienced: You bring 1-2 years of experience in commercial or financial analysis, ideally within a fast-paced services industry. Analytical Powerhouse: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex data. Excel Wizard: You’re an advanced Microsoft Excel user (think pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas are second nature). Data Savvy: You’re comfortable working with large datasets and ideally have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Communicator: You articulate complex financial information clearly and confidently, building strong relationships across teams. Team Player & Self-Starter: You can thrive independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
