Maternity Support Worker

Position Overview We are looking for Maternity Support Workers to join our midwifery teams working within our inpatient wards, delivery suite or antenatal clinic. The primary role of a Maternity Support Worker is to assist, support and work in collaboration with the midwife and wider multidisciplinary team to provide a safe and holistic approach to care. The post holder is expected to undertake a set of defined competencies, with support given to employees to further develop their skills and explore pathways for progression where appropriate. Essential Qualifications Level 3 qualification in Health Care, GCSEs or equivalent, and a care certificate.
