The Vacancy Shape the Future of Environmental Delivery in Lincolnshire - Senior/Principal Environmental Manager Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of work across the Lincolnshire region, RSK Group is seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental Manager to support and lead environmental delivery across a diverse range of construction and infrastructure projects. From small to medium-sized schemes through to nationally significant projects (NSIPs) and Development Consent Order (DCO) work, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced environmental professional to take on a visible, influential role within a growing team. The Role Comfortable spending the majority of their time on-site, supporting active construction environments. Experienced in delivering environmental management across varied project scales and sectors. Skilled in collaborating with contractors, clients, local authorities, and wider project stakeholders. Confident in providing technical leadership while mentoring and guiding junior staff. Ready to take on responsibility for day-to-day environmental delivery across multiple project types. Geographic Scope Based in Lincolnshire, you will support projects throughout the region, with the potential to work further afield depending on business needs. Flexibility to operate across different sites and environments is essential. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee environmental compliance and performance on active construction sites. Contribute to the successful delivery of small, medium, and NSIP/DCO-scale projects. Work closely with construction teams to resolve issues, implement mitigation measures, and ensure best practice. Support, mentor, and guide junior staff, helping develop skills and confidence within the team. Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, regulators, and landowners. Lead site audits, inspections, environmental monitoring, and technical reporting. Provide practical day-to-day environmental support in fast-moving site environments. What You Bring Proven experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure settings. Strong understanding of environmental legislation, site procedures, and SHEQ standards. Ability to work independently on-site while coordinating with wider project teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience mentoring junior team members.
