In this Rail Civil Engineering Apprentice role you will study while working for a leading transportation company. About The Opportunity The successful candidate will receive on‑the‑job training using the latest software tools and exposure to a mix of projects from concept stage to construction. You will provide technical assistance and support in delivering rail civil design services, 2D/3D modelling and drawing production throughout all stages of project development using the Bentley suite of software programs. What You’ll Need At least grade B in GCSE Mathematics, grade C in GCSE English, and 3 other GCSEs (or equivalent) A keen interest in developing a career in engineering and construction Strong written and verbal communication skills Interest in new, digital ways of working, technologies, and automation Self‑motivated and willing to work as part of a team Professional, positive “can do” attitude The ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study priorities Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real‑world problems Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements A well‑rounded person – worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity?
