OverviewAssociate Fire Engineer Job in ManchesterNew requirement for an based in Manchester, with a multidisciplinary consultancy that is expanding their offerings within the building safety and fire engineering space The role offers a salary of up to £75,000 plus £5,400 car allowance, bonus, hybrid working, 25 days annual leave, medical, and more. It’s a unique position to work closely with the head of the department and help shape the business’ offerings moving forward.The practice has been established for several decades with numerous offices across the UK and internationally. Working with a range of clients from developers, owners, occupiers, private and public sector clients. They have a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to consultancy, providing services across cost consultancy, environmental, health & safety, project management, building safety and fire, and much more.With a growing building safety and fire engineering department, this position will see you work closely with the head of department with a varied and diverse project portfolio across the UK. The ideal location for this role is Manchester, but they are also open to Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Milton Keynes, New Castle, Nottingham, or Winchester.Role & ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of the departmentDelivery of fire safety servicesLender due diligencePlanning gateway one fire statementsEWS1 and FRAEW fire risk assessmentConstruction stage reviews and assist with BSA Clerk of Work dutiesGovernment funding applicationsEnsure compliance and quality assuranceAssist in proposal development and developing client relationshipsNetworking and assisting in business development.Required Skills & ExperienceChartered Engineer status is highly desirable plus additional fire accreditations are advantageousProven background in a similar position focused on fire safety, fire engineering, or fire scienceMultidisciplinary consultancy background is strongly desiredBusiness development and client relations experienceCommitment to advancing building safety standardsFull UK Driving Licence and access to a car.What you get backSalary of £60,000 – £75,000Car allowance of £5,400Bonus schemeHoliday of 25 days plus bank holidays and birthday, increasing with length of serviceBuy / sell annual leave schemeEnhanced pensionPrivate medicalCycle-to-work scheme, and more #J-18808-Ljbffr
