Backed by Harmony Auto, one of Australia’s largest importers of premium and luxury electric vehicles, we are expanding rapidly and reshaping how customers interact with the EV industry. We are now building the core sales team for this flagship retail location and are seeking high-performing, customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our growing brand. What You’ll Be Doing As a Sales Consultant at BYD Doncaster, you will engage with walk-in customers, present BYD’s latest electric vehicles, and guide customers to order their new car through a smooth and professional sales process. Key Responsibilities Welcome and proactively engage customers in our Westfield retail showroom Deliver BYD product presentations, EV technology explanations, and in-store demonstrations Identify customer needs and recommend suitable models, configurations, and purchase options Maintain strong customer relationships through timely follow-up Guide customers through the complete sales process: enquiries, test drive bookings (with nearby partner locations), quotations, CRM updates, and contract signing Support showroom activities, promotions, and EV education events Work towards individual and dealership sales targets Ensure excellent customer experience in a high-traffic, fast-paced retail environment Stay updated on BYD models, EV features, delivery timelines, and industry trends What We’re Looking For Required 2+ years of sales experience (automotive, retail, luxury goods, technology, or real estate preferred) Excellent communication and customer engagement skills Strong customer service mindset with a professional approach Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs Comfortable working in a dynamic retail environment with high foot traffic Willingness to learn EV technology and CRM systems Highly Regarded Automotive or luxury retail experience Experience working in shopping centre retail environments Passion for electric vehicles and sustainability Bilingual ability (English + Mandarin) is an advantage What We Offer $60,000 base salary + Superannuation Uncapped commissions — realistic OTE $90,000–$120,000+ Comprehensive BYD training: EV knowledge, CRM, and customer experience High customer exposure due to major shopping centre foot traffic Strong lead flow and brand visibility Opportunities for career progression across our expanding dealership network Modern retail showroom with a premium brand image Why Join BYD Doncaster?
