Power Systems Engineer – Cyber Security Forum Initiative Initial 12‑Month Contract £81.05 per Hour (Umbrella Rate – Inside IR35) 2‑3 days per week on site (remainder working from home) Leicester, East Midlands Job Summary Join us as a Power Systems Engineer to support system maturity through technical reviews, document reviews, and on‑site technical direction. You will also define qualification obligations and provide functional design evidence for acceptance and safety. Responsibilities Undertake technical reviews and document reviews in support of system maturity. Articulate, define and document subject expertise, approaches, and standards to extend the business knowledge base. Provide technical direction to engineers when on site. Define the qualification obligations for assurance hold points during build, test and commissioning, and provide assurance to the Design Authority regarding the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation. Undertake functional design and provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety. Candidate Requirements Power systems modelling experience. LabVIEW experience. Equipment design, installation and commissioning experienceli> Through‑life testing experience.
