Job Description Summary The MRI tech is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. The MRI tech is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary. Minimum Training and Education Graduate of an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program. Graduate of an approved and accredited MRI program. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), MRI certification required (ARRT-MR). CPR certification required. SCRQSA preferred.
