Legionella Risk Assessor We are currently looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor/Environmental Services Consultant to manage an existing account base within the Southwest of the UK. Responsibilities Carry out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments to comply with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and other relevant documents across a range of commercial and industrial properties. Produce all reports accurately and to a high standard, with clear recommendations for corrective actions and control measures. Understand technical guidance and documentation. Produce schematics. Travel flexibly, including potential stayaways across the UK. Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and effectively. Communicate and interact with stakeholders effectively. Work to stringent turnaround times of reports. Qualifications Minimum five years’ experience in Water Hygiene and at least one year of role‑specific experience. Relevant Legionella risk assessment qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent). Ability to work independently while being a team player. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check. Full UK driving licence. Benefits Salary £28,000–£36,000 per year (dependent on experience). Company car or generous car allowance. Overtime at 1.5×. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; buy/sell scheme available. Probationary period of 6 months. Pension – join immediately or auto‑enrolled after 3 months (5% employee/5% employer via salary sacrifice). Private healthcare eligibility. Group income protection and death in service (4× basic salary) from commencement. Notice period 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
