We need concise, fact‑based copy that communicates superiority, protects our identity, and aligns with our brand values. Every customer touchpoint must reflect our mission and inspire action.ResponsibilitiesPresent work to brief owners and senior stakeholders, articulating ideas and confidently defending proposals with reasoned and evidenced arguments.Interrogate creative briefs for the products and technologies you are writing about.Collaborate closely with colleagues in other teams and work across a range of media to create seamless campaigns.Build a thorough understanding of our story—our heritage, philosophy, and how we talk about ourselves.Contribute to the overall tone of voice, writing copy based on fact, scientific principles, and clear consumer benefits—avoiding marketing jargon or spin.Take responsibility for the basics—grammar, spell‑checking, and proofing work prior to production.Share your knowledge within the Copy team and the wider business to constantly improve copy.Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience in a reputable creative agency, in‑house team, or as a freelance writer, preferably with technology copy.An inherent skill for storytelling and understanding narrative structure to engage people on a human level.Ability to question a brief and highlight key creative challenges or opportunities.Experience with digital and print campaigns.Excellent copywriting, editing, and literacy skills, including spelling and grammar, with an obsessive eye for detail.Knowledge of SEO and understanding of performance and analytical tools.Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with Adobe and web software.Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the company, its engineering ethos, and visual identity to judge what makes good communication. #J-18808-Ljbffr
