Through the development of innovative approaches and processes you could help solve some of the biggest challenges the industry faces. You will be involved in varied projects from lab‑scale to pilot‑scale, helping make products more sustainable and environmentally responsible. One position is available within each team, giving you in‑depth exposure to formulation disciplines. Your contributions will help CPI support the UK in achieving its Net Zero targets and make the world a healthier place.Colloid Science – develop and optimise colloidal systems such as gels, emulsions and aerosols for pharmaceuticals, food, personal care, agritech, and coatings.Materials Science – work across sustainable packaging, battery materials, healthcare, personal care and additive manufacturing, formulating and fabricating next‑generation materials.Nanomaterials – contribute to energy material technologies in the batteries and conductive nanomaterials sector, including synthesis optimisation, scale‑up and electrochemical testing.Automation & Digital – maintain automated systems, translate laboratory processes into digital manufacturing techniques, and develop data analytics and process control solutions.Process Technology – support the development of innovative processes, translating lab chemistry into pilot and industrial scale processes.The person we are seekingCandidates will have an A‑Level (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biologics, or a related subject and are studying toward a degree in one of the above disciplines or a related area. Experience in a chemistry, engineering or digital environment is advantageous. They should be enthusiastic, possess effective interpersonal skills, and be eager to learn and gain practical experience. Strong technical problem‑solving skills, knowledge sharing, and initiative are required.
