Product Support Advisor Commercial Swimming Pool Products

Reporting to Location Witney, Oxfordshire Department Commercial Remuneration £30,000 depending on experience plus performance related bonus Do you have technical ability? Are you looking for a challenge within a product support team? Certikin is looking for a dynamic, motivated, high performing Product Support Advisor to join our Commercial Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with technical enquiries, specifying products and providing quotations on commercial swimming pool products and providing a high level of customer service. The job includes: Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively Providing both written and verbal quotations where necessary for products relating to the Commercial Division Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and/or quotations Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate Occasionally attending trade shows and company-led seminars Liaising with External Sales Executives Promoting product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines Maintaining product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling products Providing documentation as required by the customer such as product specification Maintaining knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability. What will you bring to the role? Previous experience of working in the swimming pool industry would be desirable but not essential Previous experience of working in a mechanical/electrical industry would be advantageous but not essential Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus Knowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageous Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Problem solving and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft software Ability to function in a high-paced environment.
