Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We’re looking for a talented and commercially astute FP&A Manager for our client headquartered in the Manchester/Cheshire area. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll sit at the centre of strategic forecasting, data‑driven insight, and business partnering — helping to shape the financial future of our organisation as we continue to scale. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who’s ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally with experience in the education sector, and a solid background in exit support or M&A environments. What you’ll do Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes across the group Develop agile financial models to inform strategic decision‑making and growth Partner with senior leaders to drive performance, profitability and accountability Champion the use of data, analytics and insight to support commercial decision‑making Play a key role in M&A strategy, due diligence and exit planning What you’ll bring ACA qualification (or equivalent), with strong post‑qualification FP&A experience Ideally, experience gained within the education or training sector Proven track record supporting M&A, exit readiness or private equity‑backed environments Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, hands‑on approach and the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Finance Industries Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Finatal by 2x Get notified about new Financial Planning and Analysis Manager jobs in Manchester Area, United Kingdom. #J-18808-Ljbffr
