Discipline: Occupational Hygiene Consultant Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant Location: Stafford, Staffordshire Salary / Package: £28k – £40k + Company Vehicle, Generous Overtime Rates Midlands based Environmental Consultancy, who are currently looking to recruit an experience Occupational Hygiene Technician / Consultant to work on contracts across the Midlands region. Candidate will hold 1 or more BOHS occupational hygiene modules and will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of workplace monitoring programmes. The client prides itself on being employee focused and can provide a good work / life balance, further training and generous overtime / travel time rates. Candidates will be based in areas with good access to the West Midlands / Staffordshire area; Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Stafford, Cannock, Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Walsall, Dudley, Stourbridge, Birmingham, Kidderminster, Solihull, Redditch, Coventry, Bromsgrove, Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, and the surrounding areas. Experience Experience working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant. Will hold 1 or more BOHS modules relating to Occupational Hygiene (W501, W503, W507). BOHS P600, P601 and P602 would be beneficial to the role but not essential. Professional manner – able to liaise with clients and provide technical advice. Full Driving License Role Carrying out a range of monitoring programmes to determine worker exposure to hazardous substances. Undertaking occupational noise, dust and fume assessments. Undertaking Hand, Arm, Vibration risk assessments. Carrying out LEV assessments. Undertaking COSHH assessments. Using technical knowledge to provide consultancy advice and recommendations of actions need, to clients on how to improve workplace environments. Answering enquiries and providing quotations for works. Producing written reports following workplace assessments.
