Position Overview:

We are looking for our next hungry and proactive superstar Sales Exec If you're sociable, outgoing, a natural networker, able to think on your feet and handle objections with ease, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the PR industry while developing core sales and business development skills. You will play an essential role in generating new leads, engaging with (hot and cold) prospects, and supporting the sales team in achieving targets. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, so a passion for communication and relationship-building is key

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads within targeted industries to expand Flame PR’s reach. Use tools like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and industry resources to generate prospects.
  • Outreach and Qualification: Conduct initial outreach to potential leads via email, phone, social media and events, introducing Flame PR’s services and gathering information to qualify prospects.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery meetings for senior team members to discuss how Flame PR can support their business objectives.
  • CRM Management: Keep an organised record of prospect data, interactions, and lead status in the agency’s CRM system. Ensure all lead information is up-to-date and accessible to the Head of Sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the business development, marketing, and PR teams to ensure alignment on target accounts and sales strategy.
  • Market Research: Continuously monitor trends in the PR and marketing industries, understanding client challenges and needs, which will help improve outreach efforts.
  • Follow-ups and Nurturing: Regularly follow up with leads and prospects, nurturing relationships until they are ready to engage further with the sales team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication Skills & Resilience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable reaching out to new prospects and having conversations with C-suite decision-makers.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot) and proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Comfortable with using LinkedIn and other tools for research and outreach.
  • Organised and Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills and time management are essential.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive attitude with a drive to learn and grow in a sales role. Must be motivated and eager to contribute to the agency’s business development efforts.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with the wider PR team.
  • Interest in PR & Marketing: A passion for the PR industry and an eagerness to grow within a small but mighty agency environment.
