As part of their R&D division, the business continues to push the boundaries of premium audio – blending analogue warmth with cutting-edge digital innovation.The RoleYou’ll join the Software Development function as an Embedded Software Team Lead. This is a hybrid role, part technical manager, part engineer, combining hands-on engineering with leadership and coordination.Day-to-day, you’ll:Collaborate with Project Management and Engineering leaders to turn technical specifications into detailed software tasksWrite high-quality embedded code in C/C++ (microcontrollers, DSP, embedded Linux, ARM)Guide and mentor junior engineers, promoting best practice and continuous improvementSupport project delivery using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceLiaise with Electronics, Acoustics, Software Test and Production teams to ensure seamless integrationContribute to process improvements in CI/CD, automated testing and onboardingAct as the main point of contact for embedded software within R&D and across the wider businessYou’ll be hands-on in the lab, validating prototypes, preparing for demos, and helping bring next-generation hi-fi products to life.About YouYou’re an embedded software engineer who loves music, technology and collaboration — and you’re ready for a step up into leadership.You’ll bring:A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar5+ years’ experience in embedded software developmentStrong C programming skills on embedded platformsKnowledge of ARM microcontrollers, Embedded Linux or DSPFamiliarity with unit testing, automated testing or TDDExcellent communication skills — able to translate technical detail into clear actionsA proactive, problem-solving mindset and genuine enthusiasm for great soundExperience in consumer electronics, Wi-Fi-enabled devices or audio technology would be an advantage.Why JoinYou’ll join a collaborative, music-loving team who are passionate about engineering excellence and customer experience.
