Plumbing Engineer | Onsite Role | 40 Hours per Week + Performance Bonus An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join a well-established onsite Engineering team within a prestigious environment. This is a hands‑on, varied role working across both domestic and commercial infrastructure, offering long‑term stability, high standards of workmanship, and the chance to be part of a professional, close‑knit engineering function. This is a fully onsite position, ideal for an engineer who takes pride in quality, enjoys variety in their work, and thrives in a high‑standards environment. The Role The Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of plumbing systems across the estate. The role combines planned preventative maintenance with reactive and emergency response, ensuring all systems remain safe, compliant and operating at peak efficiency. Working as part of an engineering team of approximately 25, and reporting into the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the wider site. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance across all plumbing systems Respond promptly and professionally to breakdowns and emergency repairs Diagnose and fault‑find across a wide range of domestic and commercial systems Oversee subcontractors during new installations and specialist works Support estate‑wide infrastructure including water treatment, pumps and drainage Ensure all works comply with current building regulations and health & safety standards Maintain accurate records through the CMMS system Provide flexible engineering support across the wider team when required What They’re Looking For Trustworthy, professional and presentable at all times Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to respond to out‑of‑hours emergencies Strong team player with a positive, “can‑do” attitude Committed to high standards and continuous improvement Confident working in premium or customer‑facing environments Skills & Experience Proven experience in a similar plumbing engineering role Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability Comfortable with physical work, confined spaces and independent sourcing of parts NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent) What’s On Offer Stable, long‑term onsite engineering role 40‑hour working week with on‑call and occasional weekend work Performance‑related bonus Varied and interesting work across a large estate Supportive team environment with high professional standards Opportunity to develop skills across a diverse engineering operation #J-18808-Ljbffr
