Pupils benefit from a multi-disciplinary team consisting of teachers, a family liaison officer, teaching assistants, a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist and a mental health practitioner.About The RolePositive Behaviour Support Assistant (PBS Practitioner)Salary: £30,000 per annumWe’re looking for a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Assistant (PBS Practitioner) to join our school team and help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for pupils with additional needs.ResponsibilitiesEmbed PBS principles into daily school practice to promote positive behaviour and reduce restrictive interventions.Work directly with pupils who present behaviours that challenge, supporting staff to implement effective strategies.Collect and analyse behavioural data, contribute to functional assessments, and assist in developing person-centred PBS plans.Monitor and review interventions, attend multi-disciplinary meetings, and provide clear reports.Support transitions for new pupils and engage with parents/carers through meetings and workshops.Deliver staff training and promote best practice across the school.QualificationsExperience or knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support in an educational setting.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.Level 4 PBS or willing to work towards Level 4 or 5.Apply NowDon’t meet every single requirement?
