Their voice matters and we prioritise their wellbeing. About the Role We are looking to recruit a new Care Services Manager to oversee daily operations from our Leyburn office. You will report directly to the Managing Director, who is the Registered Manager. You will lead a Senior Care Coordinator and a team of Care Coordinators, ensuring exceptional care delivery to approximately 60 clients through a combination of employed hourly carers and self‑employed carers. In this role you will lead by example, set standards, develop your team members and continue to make office life fun and enjoyable for all. Duties Responsible for the day to day management of the office, including promoting staff morale Manage and lead a team of 2 care coordinators and 18 employer care staff (as well as approximately 75 self‑employed carers) to deliver exceptional care services Ensure all staff receive appropriate supervisions, training and one‑to‑one support Lead on carer recruitment and selection, ensuring carer numbers are sufficient to meet client demand Listen to our staff and clients and develop new initiatives in response Ensure all client and carer documentation is complete in line with Council and CQC expectations Oversee the training and development of all staff and self‑employed carers Implement and monitor care plans for clients, ensuring individual needs are met Oversee medication administration and compliance with healthcare regulations Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide specialised care, particularly in dementia care Oversee the end of month billing cycle for self‑funding clients and carers Liaise with the Finance Office to ensure invoices are correct and carers are paid in a timely manner Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making improvements where necessary Working with the Managing Director, respond to all CQC and North Yorkshire Council enquiries Any other duties that may be reasonably expected within the role Minimum Requirements 2 years experience operating Care Coordinator Degree qualification or working towards your NVQ level 5 in Care Management (desirable) Proven experience in managing and leading staff (essential) In‑depth knowledge of home care practices and regulations Strong understanding of dementia care and best practices in senior care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs IT skills and the ability to show staff how to use different applications Able to navigate spreadsheets and analyse data A sense of humour Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car for work (essential) Additional Information There is no closing date – as we receive applications we will shortlist and interview suitable candidates.
