Position Air Conditioning Engineer Salary/Package £34,000 - £38,000 (DOE), Working Pension, Death in Service X4, 24 days holiday excluding Banks, Van/Fuel card, PPE/Tools, Call Out with additional pay - (1 in 8). Location / Working Hours Preston, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, half hour for lunch (flexibility). Overtime paid double time. Client My client specialise in all types of Health Sector projects, ranging from full ward refurbishments, change of use, general facilities and building maintenance. Purpose Of The Role To carry out reactive maintenance and PPM work on industrial and commercial air conditioning systems. This role WILL require travel throughout the North West and up to Cumbria. VERY rarely travel may take you to Solihull & North Wales. Key Duties Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Air conditioning systems. Carry out installation, operation, maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment. Complete works in accordance with the Companies specifications and in compliance with the relevant legislation, trade body, industry standards and best practice. Participate in an emergency ‘out of hours' service as required, including carrying out other multi‑skilled trades work where necessary. Provide professional assessments and advice for customers. Work to operational and Health and Safety procedures, safe working practices and approved codes of practice as appropriate. Be responsible for completing dynamic risk assessments when arriving at site, checking that the safety of themselves and/or others will not be compromised by completing the task. Comprehensively complete required paperwork or electronic equivalent as appropriate.
