Role: Locum Pharmacy TechnicianBanding: Band 6Location: NorthamptonStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingRate: £23 – £29 per hourWorking hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 08:30AM to 17:00 PM)The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and competent Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join our NHS team on a locum basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the NHS and be able to efficiently manage ward-based responsibilities.Duties and Responsibilities:You will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. You will ensure accurate dispensing and distribution of medications. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. You will maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records. You will support the implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.Qualifications and Experience:Experience/Knowledge:NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.Proven experience in a pharmacy setting.Competence in ward-based pharmacy operations.Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Why work with Pulse?From the moment you register with us, our focus is entirely on you.
