We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing team, delivering exceptional results across Stockport and the surrounding areas. This is a confidential opportunity to make a real impact within a business that values quality, innovation, and professional integrity.The Role:As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while always safeguarding commercial interests. You'll work closely with project teams and key stakeholders to maintain financial control, deliver insightful reporting, and ensure contractual compliance throughout project lifecycles. Your focus will be on maintaining profitability for the company while ensuring cost-effectiveness for clients.Key Responsibilities:Effective budget management, CVRs and cash flow forecastingPreparation and submission of interim applications and final accountsContract administration, negotiation and risk mitigationManagement of project variations and their financial impactDetailed cost estimating and financial forecastingMaintaining excellent supplier and client relationshipsEnsuring accurate financial reporting and control to maximise project gross profitRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:Self-disciplined and highly organised with excellent time managementAnalytical and numerically proficient with high attention to detailStrong communicator with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationshipsPositive, proactive and solution-focused with a ‘make-it-happen' attitudeComfortable managing multiple priorities under pressureDedicated team player who takes full accountabilityPerformance Expectations:Drive project profitability above target marginsEnsure 100% contract signature rate before manufactureProactively monitor and reduce outstanding DFA'sAttend key project meetings including pre-starts and progress reviewsDeliver final account agreements within agreed timelinesThis is more than just a Quantity Surveyor role — it's an opportunity to shape projects, influence financial success, and contribute to a forward-thinking business operating with professionalism and purpose.If you are ready for your next confidential career move in the Stockport region and want to make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
